Healthy Starter Pack

Do you want to start living a healthier lifestyle, but don't know where to start?

You're not the only one. When clients come to Ohana, they are given many tools in order to help their lifestyle change go a little easier. These are just a few of those tools that can make a serious change in your everyday quality of life.

If you’re just starting on your health journey, these are 9 simple lifestyle changes you can make to get started on the right track.

The best part? You can find them all in one trip to your local health food store.

⭐️ Start taking a shot of apple cider vinegar mixed with a little water daily to balance out the good and bad bacteria in your gut.

⭐️ Change out your unhealthy fats to brain boosting ones, like extra virgin coconut oil.

⭐️ Switch out all those junky carbs to whole grains, like Ezekiel bread.

⭐️ Add more protein to your diet with a powder free of additives and chemicals.

⭐️ Water!! Buy a large water bottle, and make sure you fill it at least 2x a day, maybe more- as long as you’re getting 1/2 your body weight in ounces daily.

⭐️ Add an Omega 3 & 6 with D3 supplement for healthy joints, mental clarity and skin health.

⭐️ Add a daily probiotic for gut health and better overall nutrient absorption and body function.

⭐️ Consider getting pre-biotics as well, which act as a “food” for the probiotics, allowing them to multiply as much as possible, so they reach the colon in greater numbers.

⭐️ Start taking a daily multivitamin with a B-complex (including B6 & B12) to support overall immune health. But as always, make sure to check the labels for additives and fillers! Garden of Life products are always a great choice.

And always, before starting any new supplements, make sure to consult with your doctor first!

These are just a few tricks to help get you started, but make sure you're talking with your nutrition coach, dietician or doctor about how to start incorporating these safely into your new lifestyle.

With love,

Brie
